Does Medicare cover podiatry services?

Yes, BUT you have to have a chronic condition and a special Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referral from your General Practitioner. Please consult with your GP to see if you are eligible.

We do have HICAPS facilities. HICAPS helps you claim your private health insurance rebates on the spot. It is advisable to check with your health fund to determine if podiatry is one of your extras.
